Jon Dakin
Jon leads the Telco, Media and Technology Practice and is a co-founder of Boxwood. He has spent over 25 years in private and public sectors developing, delivering and exploiting IT-based business solutions. Jon is a chartered engineer and a member of the British Computer Society's 'Elite Group'.
Following an operational career in IT and telecommunications service delivery, Jon has focussed his consulting career on the best ways to deliver change to and through the IT function. He believes that the secret to unlocking the power of IT is to raise the awareness and commitment to change from the from senior boardroom members. He has learnt through various programmes and projects around the world that making the technology work is rarely the major challenge. CIOs and technology departments also have their part to play and Jon is skilled at raising core capabilities in these areas.
Currently he lives in the French Alps with his young family and enjoys a variety of summer and winter mountain sports.
